The Matter of the Slowed Website
RESOLVED
-
17 JULY 2026
Case opened.
A Performance Improvement Plan is issued to Mr. Mahmoud Said (Case PIP-2026-0147). The website is slow. The paperwork begins.
-
18 JULY 2026
Confession and voluntary exile.
Mr. Said submits a Letter of Contrition and Voluntary Exile: a full and unreserved confession to the knowing and repeated slowing of the website. Reparations are set at three (3) Claude Max 20× licenses. He sentences himself to the Island of Elba until the metrics turn green. The Department commends the efficiency of a case in which the subject conducts his own investigation.

18 JULY 2026
Enforcement.
Enforcement Order RMH-PMC-DON-2026-0718. The RMH PMC Department of the Navy, Maritime Enforcement Command, assumes the perimeter. Patrol craft hold the waters; the harbor is watched; the olive groves are walked. A voluntary exile, left to the goodwill of the exiled, is merely a vacation. RMH does not deal in vacations.

NIGHT OF 18 JULY 2026
██████████████
█████████████████████████████ A single teacup was recovered. The wallpaper was removed as a precaution. The Directorate was not present. The Directorate is never present.
-
18 JULY 2026
The Department is established.
General Order RMH-PMC-GO-2026-0718-IA. Slowness of this magnitude cannot arise from a single hand alone. The Department of Internal Affairs is created to find, watch, and account for all who would slow that which ought to be fast.
-
19 JULY 2026
Resolution and restoration.
Restoration Order RMH-PMC-IA-2026-0719. The slow loading and deploys are completely resolved. Every page loads with haste; Time to First Byte is a source of pride. The exile is lifted, the Navy stands down, and the reparations are received in good standing. Mr. Said is restored as Co-Chief Technology Officer, RMH Studios, and Managing General Partner, RMH Combinator — and then, in recognition of remediation achieved under duress, promoted to Director of Optimization, with custody of latency, deploy health, and Time to First Byte across the enterprise. He remains under surveillance by the Directorate of Internal Intelligence. Cooperation is presumed.
